When you are out on a sailing tour, you will hear a lot of vocabulary being thrown around that might as well be in another language. Maybe that suits you just fine – you would prefer to let the captain and crew do whatever they need to do, while you do what you need to do; sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
If you are the more curious type, you’ll want to be in the know and maybe, just maybe, impress the captain and crew with your knowledge of sailing jargon. The next thing you know, you’ll be crewing the harbor tour, and you love it so much, you go home, quit your job and start sailing full time. Just like our Captain Phil.
